What to Expect on this Website

This online resource is the only independent active online resource for the education of psychiatry residents and other psychiatric-care providers. It will provide you with an outline of the highest yield topics for the PRITE® exam as well as the Psychiatry Boards.

This website is in no way a comprehensive review of all of psychiatry, but it does cover the highest yield topics for the examinations that one would take in psychiatry residency and beyond.

NowYouKnow Psych™ is designed to provide information and guidance in regard to the psychiatric diseases it covers. It is a study guide and thus not meant to be a clinical resource. The content of this website is largely original content gathered through the input of numerous experts, as well as some other secondary sources which are cited throughout. Payment & Transactions

You are responsible for any payments due for any products or services ordered through your account. If we do not receive payment from your credit issuer or its agents, you agree to pay all amounts due to us. You shall also be responsible for any costs of collection of overdue payment.

Nowyouknowpsych.com processed all payments through third-party payment processing platforms, such as Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other. Transactions through these platforms are both secure and refundable. At no point in time can anyone from NowYouKnow Psych™ see your full credit card information.

Sales Tax

We are required by law to charge applicable sales tax on services purchased in states in some states or counties in the United States, depending on the laws of that state or county. Sales tax will be added automatically to these persons during checkout and will reflect the tax rates designated by that region.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with the educational service provided, please file a dispute with info@nowyouknowpsych.com before the duration of your account access has expired. Someone will respond to you within 48 hours.

Security

By entering any information on the Site, you represent and warrant that (i) you are using your actual identity; and (ii) you have provided only true, accurate, current and complete information. All information provided to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. All credit card information is secured through Stripe or other third party payment processors. At no point will any person(s) at NowYouKnow Psych™ have access to your full credit card number or account information.

Both NowYouKnow Psych™ and our payment processing partners use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 256-bit encryption technology to protect all of your information. This is the gold standard of web safety and security. You will be able to tell that you are in secure mode because the “http” in the web address on your browser will read as “https”.

The ONLY email addresses acknowledged, operated, and owned by NowYouKnow Psych™ are those ending in “@nowyouknowpsych.com” or “@nowyouknowneuro.com”.

Privacy Policy

NowYouKnow Psych™ will not collect any personally identifiable information about you through our website unless you provide it to us voluntarily.

Under NO circumstance will NowYouKnow Psych™ request credit card information over the phone, by e-mail, or by mail. Credit card information is dealt ONLY through Stripe, PayPal, or other third-party payment processors as listed above.

Personal information will be requested for: membership registration, contest entry, or participation in promotional events. The types of personal information collected include name, shipping address, billing address, e-mail address and phone number.

We also collect an IP address from the computers of visitors to our site. An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you surf the Web and is non-personally identifiable. Web servers, or the computers that provide the web pages to your computer for you to view, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you use your computer to request to view a page from a server, that server logs your IP address. Nowyouknowpsych.com does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. Your visit to Nowyouknowpsych.com will be logged; however, you will remain anonymous to us. The purpose of tracking IP addresses is to observe the number of people that view each page of our website to survey site growth.
